Today I spent the whole morning running around and completing a long checklist of things I needed to get to apply for a visa for my upcoming trip to Thailand.
Consulate of Thailand accepts visa applications for two hours a day, three days a week. I felt like running around in a computer game completing various quests with some obstacles along the way in the end fulfilling them all and submitting everything just in time. But most importantly it reminded me how lucky I am to be living in a country which is a part of the EU. How lucky we are to be able to travel freely and spontaneously with one way tickets. (my favorite kind)
In the world of visas my spontaneous nature has to be tamed, but at least it made me appreciate what I have and what I am even more. So THANK YOU FOR THAT!
I guess if we did not have those restrictions it would be very easy to start taking those privileges for granted as for some might have happened in Europe. As for me, I just wanted to share my gratitude.
Till the next week, when I will start working towards my visa for Shanghai.
